CORPES19: International Workshop on Strong Correlations and Angle-Resolved Photoemission Spectroscopy – 15th to 19th July 2019, Oxford, UK

CALLING FOR ABSTRACTS: The deadline for CORPES19 abstracts has been extended to 31st March 2019 - SUBMIT

Early bird registration is currently open - REGISTER

CORPES19 is an international workshop dedicated to recent experimental and theoretical advances in the electronic structure of strongly correlated systems and quantum materials, following a tradition that started in 2005. Taking place at the University of Oxford’s Worcester College, this workshop will bring together scientists working in the broad areas of many-body electronic structure theory and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES), and will provide a forum to discuss the most recent developments and future directions.

The scientific programme will include the following topics:

  • ARPES of quantum materials;
  • Many-body electronic structure methods;
  • Strongly correlated systems: cuprates, iridates, ruthenates, iron pnictides;
  • Theory of strongly correlated systems;
  • 4f systems, Heavy Fermions and Kondo systems;
  • Topological materials: Weyl semimetal, 3D Dirac Fermions, exotic Fermiology;
  • 2D materials: Transition metal dichalcogenides, Graphene, Delafossite;
  • Beyond conventional ARPES: Spatially-resolved ARPES, Soft X-ray ARPES, Spin-ARPES, Time-resolved ARPES;
  • Theory of Photoemission Spectroscopy.

ABSTRACTS: We are inviting abstract submissions for oral or poster presentations. Deadline for submissions is 31st March 2019.
