Dear Colleagues and Friends,

we are happy to announce that we are ready to start another season of the CECAM Mixed-Gen series!

In each session, a one-hour long general lecture by an experienced speaker will be followed by two (or three…) shorter talks by younger members of our community. These shorter talks will be selected from the posters submitted by interested participants. All submitted posters will be on show in an on-line poster session after the talks. The first part of the event is public and will be streamed live via Zoom, the second requires registration and is held on GatherTown.

We start on November 24 2022 at 15:00 (CET) with a talk by Silke Biermann, Ecole Polythecnique Paris, titled “Correlated transition metal oxides -- new twists to old problems".

Register at

https://www.cecam.org/workshop-details/1183

and submit a poster by November 15. Please disseminate this information among potential submitters!

More detailed information and the Zoom link for the public part of the session will be sent closer to the date of the event.

Here

https://www.cecam.org/mixedgen

you will find the complete set of lectures for the series.

Looking forward to a new season together,

Ignacio and Sara
