This workshop aims at a discussion of the requirements, challenges, and possibilities for an effective description of moderate to intense electric field and its effect on liquid, matter and isolated atoms and particles. We expect stimulating discussions on recent results and scientific concepts.
The 3-day workshop will be held April 26-29, 2020 at Ringberg Castle in Germany. The purpose of the workshop is to bring together distinguished scientists working in the area of atom probe tomography, field-ion microscopy, and electrochemistry, in order to discuss the possibilities, requirements, and challenges for the effective modeling of electric fields across a range of scientific communities.
