We would like to announce the "Workshop and hands-on school on the full-potential linear muffin-tin orbital (FP-LMTO) method and dynamical mean-field theory (DMFT)", to be held in Santo Stefano di Sessanio, Italy, from Monday, June 4th to Friday, June 8th, 2018. This meeting is centered on the RSPt code for electronic structure calculations and will cover basic and advanced functionalities. The hands-on school will consist of dedicated sessions where RSPt beginners will be guided through various tasks by expert users and developers. The workshop will be focused on recent technical developments that may be relevant for the RSPt community, as e.g. X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS), photoemission spectroscopy (PES), DMFT and GW. The presence of several invited speakers outside the RSPt circle will favor a more dynamic exchange of ideas and foster future collaborations. Participants are welcome to present their latest research in electronic structure and magnetism in oral or poster presentations.
