Dear colleagues,

We are thrilled to announce another fascinating session in our MatSQ Webinar Series at Materials Square, and you are all invited! Please follow this link for registration: https://www.materialssquare.com/webinar.

We are honored to host Prof. Miguel Marques from the Institute of Physics, Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg. Prof. Marques is a distinguished scientist with a profound background in density functional theory, superconductivity, and the application of machine learning to materials science. His prodigious academic journey spans across several countries, with noteworthy contributions in each.

Prof. Marques' groundbreaking research has been instrumental in shaping the direction of contemporary materials science, with over 200 articles to his name and three books published in the Springer's Lecture Notes in Physics series. Furthermore, his reputation as a skilled educator is underscored by his roles in organizing several summer schools and international workshops, like the renowned Benasque School and International Workshop in TDDFT.

In this webinar, Prof. Marques will be shedding light on the topic of "Large-scale machine-learning assisted discovery and characterization of materials." This webinar will provide an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth insights into the application of machine learning techniques in materials science, under the guidance of a world-class expert in the field.
