Dear colleagues,

we are pleased to announce the upcoming online tutorial exciting NEWS 2021 running on June 16, 18, 21, and 23. This event is a light version of the HoW exciting! workshop and will consist of keynote lectures as well as selected hands-on sessions related to new advancements in the full-potential all-electron code exciting.

The talks and tutorials are planned on the following topics:

Advanced exchange-correlation functionals and GW methodology,
The Bethe-Salpether-equation formalism,
Electron-phonon coupling,
Time-dependent DFT, dynamics, and transport properties.
