Dear Colleagues,
We are excited to announce that the Ultrafast Phenomena in Cooperative Systems Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) will be held on February 3-4, 2024 in Lucca, Italy (in-person only).
The GRS is a forum for early-career researchers (graduate, doctoral, postdoctoral, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience) to share their research and build collaborative relationships with their peers. In addition to scientific talks and posters, the seminar will feature a mentorship session in the form of a panel discussion. Attendees are expected to actively participate in the seminar, either by giving an oral presentation or presenting a poster. Applicants who wish to be considered for an oral presentation must submit their abstracts by October 29, 2023.
The associated main meeting, Ultrafast Phenomena in Cooperative Systems Gordon Research Conference (GRC), which will feature invited talks by senior scientists in addition to poster presentations by all participants, will take place from February 4-9, 2024 at the same location. All junior researchers are strongly encouraged to attend both meetings.
Financial assistance is available for qualified applicants through the GRC Carl Storm Underrepresented Minority Fellowship Program, which provides funding for underrepresented minority graduate students, postdocs, faculty, and scientists to attend their first GRC meeting. If you are a senior scientist, we kindly ask you to forward this email to your group members, as well as other young researchers and faculty in your department.
