We are pleased to announce that registration is finally open for the 17th edition of the Young Researchers’ Meeting (YRM) of the European Theoretical Spectroscopy Facility, which will be held in Cagliari (Italy) from 25 to 29 May 2020 ! We invite you to check our website here:

What is the YRM of ETSF?
Here is a brief explanation for the new members of ETSF (and a little reminder for the older ones): the YRM of ETSF is an annual meeting aimed at young researchers in the field of theoretical condensed matter. The only condition to participate is not to have a permanent position at the moment of the conference. You can take a look at the conference programme here:

Who can contribute a talk?
All participants are welcome to contribute to the conference! Of course, depending on the number of participants, we cannot ensure that every participant will be able to give a talk. Nonetheless,we strongly encourage you to submit your abstracts during the registration. A poster session will also be held during the conference.
When is the deadline?
The deadline for registration and abstract submission for contributed talks is May 1 st . We strongly recommend that you register as soon as possible. Please also bear in mind that the end of May is considered high season in Cagliari, so buying your flight tickets in advance may save you a considerable sum. You can register for the conference here:

How much is the registration fee?
Since the YRM is an event dedicated to non-permanent researchers who usually have limited financial resources, one of our primary concerns has been to keep the conference fees as low as possible. There are three registration options:
Option 1: 180€ (including accommodation from May 24th to 29th in a shared room, breakfast, lunches, social dinner and coffee breaks)
Option 2: 220€ (including accommodation from May 24th to 29th in a single room, breakfast, lunches, social dinner and coffee breaks) *** LIMITED PLACES ***
Option 3: 120€ (including lunch, social dinner and coffee breaks)
