We are pleased to announce the Summer School "Machine Learning for Materials Hard and Soft" to be held July 11-22, 2022, in Vienna, Austria:

In this school, geared towards doctoral and advanced master students, participants will gain an understanding of various machine learning methods and learn about their application to hard and soft materials. Introductory lectures will be complemented with hands-on exercises as well as research talks about the current state of the art.

The school is organized jointly by the SFB TACO, the Doctoral College AFM, the Vienna Doctoral School Physics and the Erwin Schrödinger Institute (ESI).

Some travel support is available for master and doctoral students.
