The "Second International School on NanoAlloys (ISNA-2)” will be held in Pisa from 20th to 25th January 2020.

ISNA-2 is organized within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action – International Training Network (MSCA-ITN) “Bimetallic catalyst knowledge-based development for energy applications (BIKE)” Grant Agreement 813748, and will focus on the structure and properties of NanoAlloy materials, with specific attention to their use in catalytic applications and a strong emphasis on predictive modeling. ISNA-2 is a follow-up of the First International Training School on NanoAlloys (ISNA) School held in 2012 in Pisa, within the COST Action on “Nanoalloys” and will be held in collaboration with the French International Research Network (IRN) on Nanoalloys: “Nanoalloy properties and their relationship with structure and environment”.

The perspective audience of the School are Early Stage Researchers and post-docs, both theoreticians and experimentalists, and its targets are: (i) to contribute preparing a new generation of young researchers knowledgeable of the theoretical and experimental advances of the field; (ii) to update previously developed educational tools with latest progress, in particular in the fields of predictive theoretical modelling of nano-alloys under realistic conditions, in-situ and operando characterization and modeling, advanced preparation methods, and industrial applications.
