Dear colleague,

with this circular we would like to invite you to a "Les Houches
School of Physics" we are organizing from the 30th of August until
the 10th of September 2021. This school is about: "Multiple
scattering Green's function for electronic structure and spectroscopy
calculations". It replaces the one we had to cancel last year, due to
the pandemic. As we cannot forecast the evolution of the sanitary
restrictions, we expect all participants to be vaccinated or to have
a certificate on a recent test with negative result.

We very much hope to have it on site. If not, it will effectively take
place according to the planned schedule, as a virtual school, on the
School Youtube channel.

At registration time, three different registration fees will apply:

1) Recommended Master students and PhD Students: 300 €

2) Post-docs and Senior Researchers: 450 €

3) Invited Speakers/Trainers: 150 €/week

This will cover all local costs (lodging/meals/social event).

The total capacity of the Les Houches school is 70 persons.

Priority will be given to PhD students and post-doctoral fellows.
The selection will be made on the basis of the pre-registration
list. All approved participants will be informed as soon as
possible.
