IMPRESS: Interfacing Machine Learning and Experimental Methods for Surface Structures
11-13 July 2018, Graz (Austria)
http://www.if.tugraz.at/impress/

Abstract deadline: 15 May 2018

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to the second IMPRESS workshop on "Interfacing Machine Learning and Experimental Methods for Surface Structures", held at Graz University of Technology (Graz, Austria) on 11-13 July 2018.

The workshop targets the challenges in structural identification of organic ensembles on surfaces and interfaces. The advent of machine learning computational methods is changing the way structure determination is performed, since it facilitates the rational design of new experiments and the analysis of large amounts of data. The objective of the workshop is to bring experimentalists and theorists together so that both can learn and benefit from each other's expertise, and also to consider novel collaborative strategies in future years. The workshop programme features daily discussion sessions that promote an open exchange of ideas.

We welcome your contributions for both oral presentations and posters. The abstract deadline is 15 May 2018. The event is free of registration fees thanks to support from CECAM, Psi-K and NOMAD. Workshop information, registration and abstract submission is available at our website: http://www.if.tugraz.at/impress/
