Due to the large number of posts recently, there is currently a delay of several weeks between posts being submitted and the corresponding emails being distributed to all users. Dear colleagues,

 

after the great success of the first "Quantum Science Generation" Workshop held in Trento in 2023, I'd like to attract your attention to its second edition, "Quantum Science Generation 2024" which will happen again in Trento (Italy). The workshop is focused on quantum science and technology, and it will take place from the 6th of May to 10th of May 2024. Here is the page of the event: https://indico.ectstar.eu/event/204/

 

The workshop aims to gather together early-stage and senior experienced researchers in the macro-field of quantum science and technology, especially giving the possibility for young researchers to present and share their work. A major focus will be on quantum simulators & quantum computing for quantum chemistry, many-body physics & numerical methods, photonics & quantum cryptography but the general spirit of the workshop/conference is to deal with quantum science in a broad sense, aiming to get together various communities under a single unifying frame. For this reason, the workshop/conference will be strongly focused on the interactions among all the participants & speakers, leaving many slots available for contributed talks and giving large space to social events.

 

Moreover, we will have some special sessions about industrial and start-up applications.

 

Abstract submission is already open, while official registration and fee payment will be available only from the beginning of February. The fee will be around 210€ and it will cover coffee breaks, lunches, conference dinners, and other social events.

 

Due to space constraints, we will have a maximum of ~60 participants. We will give priority to the first people applying for a poster or contributed talk, so we encourage all the possible participants to apply as soon as possible for a talk or poster (even if the official registration will start in Feb. they will still be counted).
