Due to the large number of posts recently, there is currently a delay of several weeks between posts being submitted and the corresponding emails being distributed to all users. In the meantime – and until this notice is removed – it would assist us considerably if you could submit only important and/or urgent posts and thus help to reduce the size of the mail queue. Under no circumstances should you resend posts multiple times when you find the emails are not distributed immediately.

In light of the Russian military offensive in Ukraine, we request that announcements relating to events, jobs and other activities associated with institutions supported by the Russian and Belarusian states are not posted to the Psi-k forum.

The 2023 QMCPACK Users Workshop is scheduled at Argonne National Laboratory, Chicago, USA, from Tuesday, 12th December – Thursday, 14th December.  The 2.5-day workshop is intended for current users and developers of the QMCPACK ab initio Quantum Monte Carlo code. The agenda will include research presentations, tutorials on new features, and significant time for discussion and feedback on the direction of the code and methodology. Users and developers of other codes and electronic structure methodologies are fully welcome. Every attendee is encouraged to present a poster on their current work. A best poster prize will be awarded on the final day. We are also accepting submissions for talks at the workshop. There is no registration fee and support for accommodations at the Argonne Guest House is available. While in person attendance is strongly encouraged, a virtual option is available.

 

Registration deadline 7th November 2023. Registration is required for either virtual or in person attendance.
