This is the second announcement of the Psi-k/CECAM workshop:
New challenges in Reduced Density Matrix Functional Theory: symmetries, time-evolution and entanglement
September 26-29 2017, to be held in Lausanne, Switzerland.
https://www.cecam.org/workshop-1448.html
This international workshop will discuss and explore new aspects and challenges in Reduced Density Matrix Functional Theory (RDMFT). The main aim is to bring together leading experts in the field to address and carefully discuss open challenges such as implementation of one-particle symmetries, extension of RDMFT to open-shell atoms and molecules, time-evolution and new insights about RDMFT from recent progress on the one- and two-body N-representability problem.
The list of invited speakers includes:
Applications can be done on the website of the workshop. There is no registration fee. We can partially support participants upon request (if received before June 10th). Please include a motivation for your participation, explanation of your experience and names and contact information of possible referees (supervisor, etc).
The maximum number of participants is 45.
There will be a poster session and a session of contributed talks to which the participants are encouraged to contribute.
Looking forward to meeting you in Lausanne,
The organizers,
