Announcements of conferences, workshops, schools…

Due to the large number of posts recently, there is currently a delay of several weeks between posts being submitted and the corresponding emails being distributed to all users. Please bear with us while we try to improve this. In the meantime – and until this notice is removed – it would assist us considerably if you could submit only important and/or urgent posts and thus help to reduce the size of the mail queue. Under no circumstances should you resend posts multiple times when you find the emails are not distributed immediately.

In light of the Russian military offensive in Ukraine, we request that announcements relating to events, jobs and other activities associated with institutions supported by the Russian and Belarusian states are not posted to the Psi-k forum.

We would like to bring to your attention the Symposium at Psi-k 2022 (Lausanne, August 22-25 2022) on Strong Correlations (beyond local approximations), where we focus on methodological developments in numerical simulations of strongly correlated materials. This will include developments in wave function, Greens function, and renormalization group approaches, including the latest stochastic and deterministic methods for the simulation of extended systems both in and out of equilibrium, and non-local extensions to DMFT.

We welcome contributions to bring together and promote exchange of theoretical and computational strategies between researchers, with the invited speakers Alexander Lichtenstein, Alessandro Toschi, and Shiwei Zhang.

We welcome abstracts for contributed talks (15 minutes) and posters on this topic and encourage early-career researchers to apply. The deadline for oral contributions is 31 May 2022.

More information can be found here: https://www.psik2022.net/abstracts

The organizers

George Booth (chair), Maria Daghofer, Jan Kunes
