Dear Psi-k community,  

We - a team connected to various materials databases, most involved in the OPTIMADE consortium for a common materials database API - are organizing a Psi-k workshop around a common interest in ontology efforts relevant for materials science and for use in materials databases. The OMDI2021 workshop aims to bring together researchers engaged in materials databases, materials-oriented ontologies, and semantic methods.

The workshop will be organized in a series of chaired sessions of a few talks and a discussion around topics on ontologies and their place in open science, for data exchange, in materials science, for materials properties, for data integration, and their use in applications. A more detailed program will soon appear.

We are happy to accept posters relevant to the workshop topics but may also be able to accommodate a few more contributed talks.
