Dear Psi-kers (apologies for cross posting)

we are proud to announce the 2016 edition of the NanoteC conference,

http://www.nanotec-conference.net/

on all forms of nano-Carbon, as well as related 2D materials, composites and derived (bio)materials. Our ambition is to provide the international community with an alternative conference on Carbon, with broad scope in order to favor new interactions between fields.

The conference will be held at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, from August 31st to September 3rd. Registration will open in April, early bird registration closes 15th of July. Abstract deadline is 1st of July - selection of contributed oral speakers will follow by the 15th.

This year's edition has two focal points, inspired by the dynamic high tech industrial landscape in Ireland. The first is on bio, with a dedicated session including industrial and R&D applications, as well as toxicology. The second is devices and materials for electronics.

We have an impressive list of confirmed invited speakers lined up, including:

Kenneth Dawson (University College Dublin)

David Carey (University of Surrey)

Annalisa Fasolino (Radboud University Nijmegen)

Luis Hueso (Nanogune San Sebastian Spain)

Toru Maekawa (Toyo University)

Valeria Nicolosi (Trinity College Dublin)

Attendance is limited, and preference will be given to early stage researchers. The registration fee is kept as low as possible to encourage their participation and interaction with leading edge researchers in nanomaterials science.

See you soon in Dublin,

On behalf of the British Carbon Group and Trinity College Dublin,
The organising committee,
  Izabela Jurewicz (U Surrey, UK)
  Frank Dillon (U Oxford, UK)
  Matthieu Verstraete (U Liège, Belgium)
  Zeila Zanolli (RWTH Aachen, Germany)
  Werner Blau (TCD, Ireland)
