Dear psi-k-iers,

On the behalf of the organising committee, I would like to advertise the mini-colloquium on “Halide Perovskites for opto-electronic applications” (https://jmc17.sciencesconf.org/data/pages/_29.pdf)

that will be held in the context of the French National Meeting on solid state physics (Journée de la Matière Condensée, JMC2021, https: https://jmc17.sciencesconf.org)

The mini-colloquium is dedicated to recent advances in the field of halide perovskites for opto-electronic applications, going from the synthesis to characterization, devices and modeling.

In particular, in light of the fundamental support in the field from the latter, we warmly welcome contributions from the community of theory and computation, as nicely represented by the psi-k network.

Practical information:

  • Although put in the context of a French national event, the colloquium will be held in English.
  • The full JMC event will be held from the 24 to the 27 of June, with the exact dates of the mini-colloquium (likely couple of half-days) still to fix.
  • Due to the pandemic, the event will be held on-line.
  • A symbolic contribution of 50 euros is asked, to support the division of solid state physics.
  • Invited speakers are well-renewed spectroscopists: Prof. Damien Garrot (Université Paris-Saclay) and Prof. Philippe Tamarat (Université de Bordeaux).
  • Deadline for submission is currently set for the 15 of May but extensions may be considered.
  • A prize is awarded for the best poster.

With my warmest regards
