Dear friends,

we are glad to announce the International workshop "Designing Room Temperature Superconductors”, which will take place at the Gran Sasso Science Institute, l'Aquila, Italy, from the 27th to the 30th of July 2020. The workshop is co-organized by Lilia Boeri (Sapienza, Rome), Richard Hennig and Peter Hirschfeld (University of Florida), Gianni Profeta (University of l'Aquila), and Antonio Sanna (MPI Halle) and is funded by CECAM, PSIK, Universita' dell'Aquila and the Air Force Office of Scientific Research.

The program will feature contributions from international experts on high pressure research, computational material design, electronic structure theory and  superconductivity, who will give an overview of the current research in superconductor design, with a particular focus on recent discoveries in high-pressure hydrogen and hydrides.

The attendance is free, but for organisational reasons the number of participants is limited to 80. The deadline for registration is April, 20th 2020.
