Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Australian Materials Research Society, in partnership with the International Union of Materials Research Societies, it is our pleasure to invite you to the International Union of Materials Research Societies - International Conference in Asia (IUMRS-ICA). This is the premier conference for the field of Materials Science and Engineering to be held each year in Asia, with almost 2,000 attendees for the meeting in 2017. This year, as we celebrate the International Year of the Periodic Table, IUMRS-ICA 2019 will be in held in Perth, Western Australia, from 22nd-26th September at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, located in the heart of the city by the banks of the Swan River. This meeting is being organised under the auspices of the Australian Materials Research Society and the National Committee for Materials Science and Engineering of the Australian Academy of Science.
Among the symposium on offer Symposium F (“Computational Materials”) comprised three themes:
F1 - “Modelling of materials structure, defects, and properties” - aims to capture exciting new work in computational materials science and materials chemistry, and the use of quantum mechanical simulations.
F2 - “Data-driven materials discovery and design” - aims to capture exciting new work in material data science, materials informatics and the use of machine learning and AI in materials science.
F3 - “Simulation of disordered and amorphous materials and assemblies” – aims to capture exciting new work in classical, coarse grained and mesoscale simulations, including additive manufacturing.
Abstracts submission are open now via the conference website at https://iumrs-ica2019.com/home/abstracts/, along with guidelines and instructions. The deadline is 31st of May.
