Dear Colleagues,

Greetings from IIITM, Gwalior (India).

I am pleased to share with you that our Advanced Materials Research group at CNT Lab of ABV-IIITM, Gwalior has completed its successful 10 Years and during this period of one decade, we have developed a very good computational facility for material as well as device modeling. The facility is being utilised by in-house as well as outside Doctoral, Postdoctoral and masters scholar from Physics/Chemistry/Bio/VLSI/Electronics etc. The group has extended its network at national as well as international level for joint and multidisciplinary research projects. Our current research focus is on the use of Nanomaterials to address the Water, Energy, and Environmental Challenges. During this period, to expand our network and develop a better understanding on various challenges of current scientific issues, which can have a possible blueprint through our computational expertise, AMR group has organised various workshops/conferences/seminars/meetings and has got an overwhelming response by the participants as well as senior scientists from India as well as abroad. The group has published 100+ quality publications in the scientific journals of international repute, 10+ PhD students, Postdocs, Young faculties from local colleges and more than 60 masters students have been associated with our AMR group in this journey so far.

Motivated with this success and support of our encouraging network of scientific community, we thought of celebrating this success by organizing an International Conference on Advances in Nanomaterials and Devices for Energy and Environment “ICAN-2019“ from 27-29 Jan, 2019. 

We invite you all to contribute your research findings to this conference. We assure you that your presence during this conference will be as scintillating as possible, which will serve two purposes; providing you a platform to interact with so many Indian researchers working in this area on one hand and strengthening our network with you and your organization on the other hand.
