Announcements of conferences, workshops, schools…

Due to the large number of posts recently, there is currently a delay of several weeks between posts being submitted and the corresponding emails being distributed to all users. Please bear with us while we try to improve this. In the meantime – and until this notice is removed – it would assist us considerably if you could submit only important and/or urgent posts and thus help to reduce the size of the mail queue. Under no circumstances should you resend posts multiple times when you find the emails are not distributed immediately.

In light of the Russian military offensive in Ukraine, we request that announcements relating to events, jobs and other activities associated with institutions supported by the Russian and Belarusian states are not posted to the Psi-k forum.

The call of abstracts of the 18th International Congress on Catalysis (ICC), to be held in Lyon from July 14th to July 19th 2024 (https://www.icc-lyon2024.fr/), is open. The deadline for submission is October 31st, 2023.

Beside a large set of topics (https://www.icc-lyon2024.fr/en/scientific-program/scientific-topics/35) devoted to the various aspects of catalysis, with possible contributions from computational chemistry, three topics will be more specifically focused on computational catalysis:

  • Topic 5, Computational approaches at the atomic scale of catalysis – General
  • Topic 6, Computational approaches at the atomic scale of catalysis - Unifying concepts to tackle dynamics in computational catalysis
  • Topic 7, Computational approaches at the atomic scale of catalysis - Quantum simulation combined with machine learning for catalysis (see previous post: https://psi-k.net/events/call-for-abstracts-short-symposium-quantu/)

We invite all interested researchers of the community to submit abstracts following the instructions provided here: https://www.icc-lyon2024.fr/abstracts/. By creating a profile on the abstract platform, it is also possible to apply to become a reviewer for abstracts of the conference, even if you do not plan to submit. Thanks in advance for your contribution and help!
