HPC-CONEXS Sandpit Event 26-27th February (No replies)
Back to Event listings...
Dear Colleagues,
There is still time to register for the HPC-CONEXS Sandpit held at the Research Complex at Harwell on 26-27th February.
HPC-CONEXS is a UK high-end computing consortium seeking to support the development and distribution of computational tools that advance analysis of experimental X-ray spectroscopic data. It also seeks to leverage the synergies between experiment and theory to develop collaborations which facilitate the interpretation of cutting edge experiments in this area.
This sandpit, jointly hosted with Harwell XPS is seeking to support the community by developing and strengthening connections between theorists and experimentalists working in the area. If you are an experimentalist seeking theoretical support or a theoretician looking for experimental data to benchmark your simulations - this event if for you!
Day 1 will develop a collaborative roadmap for future research directions to enhance collaboration between experiment and theory in X-ray spectroscopy.
Day 2 will provide support for theorists and experimentalists to develop collaborative project that utilise Archer2 (UK National supercomputer).
All are welcome, but this will be of most interest to researchers based in the UK. You can register here.
Many Thanks
