Dear Colleagues,

It is our pleasure to announce HoW exciting! 2016, a workshop on excitations in solids. It will take place from August 3 – 11, 2016 at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Campus Adlershof, and is open for registration now.

The event is organized as follows. From August 3 - 6, we will host a conference on excitations in solids, mostly focusing on state-of-the art and recent advances of theory but also providing an overview of the forefront of experimental research. This conference is followed by a hands-on tutorial on the exciting code, taking place August 7 - 11.

We encourage participants to submit abstracts for contributed talks (a limited number of slots are available) or for poster presentations.

The number of participants is restricted to 70.

Limited financial support is available for young scientists (PhD students and young post-docs). The deadline for regular registration and request for financial support is May 15, 2016.
