Bridging the Gap from Free Clusters to Functional Nanostructures
The 2015 Gordon Conference focuses on the intimate interplay between the properties of clusters over a wide size range and their translation into supported nanoparticles, so bridging the gap from free clusters to functional nanostructures.The traditional interdisciplinary nature of this Conference will be preserved. Fundamental questions, such as cluster formation, geometric structure, electronic structure, magnetism, optical properties, chemical reactivity, and alloying in the gas phase will complement topics crucial to applications, such as cluster support interactions and functional behavior in catalysis, optical labeling, cluster assembled materials, nano-engineering, etc.

The Melia Golf Vichy Catalan is located approximately 1.5 hours north of Barcelona in the city of Caldes de Malavella, Spain. The site is easily accessible by public and private transportation from both the Barcelona International Airport (110 km) and Girona International Airport (5 km).

Applications
We encourage all attendees to submit posters via the online application portal. A limited number of posters, submitted before June 2nd, will be selected for "late-breaking" oral contributions. Submissions by young researchers are very much encouraged. financial support is available and should be requested from the conference chair.
The deadline for applications for this meeting is June 7, 2015.
