The Foundations of Molecular Modeling and Simulation conference, FOMMS 2022, will be held July 17-21, 2022 at The Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan, WI (85 miles northwest from Chicago O'Hare airport and 50 miles southwest from Milwaukee Mitchell airport). FOMMS conferences showcase new developments and applications of computational quantum chemistry, statistical mechanics, molecular simulation and theory, and continuum and engineering process simulation. Additional information is available from the conference website.

We are excited about FOMMS 2022! The in-person conference features an outstanding group of speakers and offers ample opportunity for networking and informal discussions. Some details:

Abstracts: Abstracts can be submitted online. The deadline is April 8.

Student support: We have submitted proposals to NSF and DOE. If successful, these awards will provide registration fee waiver opportunities for graduate students and postdocs. The registration page provides information regarding the application process (the research supervisor needs to submit a brief application). The deadline to apply for an early career registration waiver is April 15. Please consider using this support mechanism to provide opportunities for graduate students/postdocs to attend FOMMS 2022.

Schedule: The schedule for the sessions is available here. An overview of the conference is provided on the FOMMS homepage.

FOMMS Movie: We will again prepare a movie for FOMMS. Chris Wilmer is taking the lead. Please consider a contribution from your group.

Please let us know of questions that you have. We hope to see you at FOMMS!

All the best,

Jeff Errington ([email protected])
Jim Pfaendtner ([email protected])
Sabrina Pricl ([email protected])
