Dear Colleagues,
at the upcoming Condensed Matter Spring Meeting of the German Physical Society (DPG), which will take place in Berlin from March 17th to 22nd 2024, we are organizing a focus session dedicated to “SrTiO3: a versatile material from bulk quantum paraelectric to 2D superconductor”. This focus session is supported by several divisions of the DPG (Low Temperature Physics; Magnetism; Surface Science; Crystalline Solids and their Microstructure). The session will feature five invited speakers (national and international), and there will also be contributed talks and posters. Therefore, we would like to encourage you or members of your groups to present recent research in the field of SrTiO3 and related phenomena within the context of this focus session.
The DPG Condensed Matter Spring Meeting is the largest physics conference in Europe, and brings together physicists from all fields of solid state physics. With the moderate conference fee, the DPG Meeting is an ideal meeting place for a broad audience ranging from students to world-known scholars. Abstract submission deadline is 1st of December 2023. For submission details, see below.
Please forward this information also to any colleagues or students who might be interested in this focus session on SrTiO3.
Kind regards and looking forward to an exciting session in Berlin,
Rossitza Pentcheva (University of Duisburg-Essen) and Marc Scheffler (University of Stuttgart)
