With the general Psi-k 2022 conference approaching (August 22-25, in Lausanne, Switzerland), we are delighted to announce that we have secured funding to support 3 classes of fellowship awards that would cover most of the expenses (conference fee, hotel, and contribution to travel) for selected applicants. First deadlines are May 15, to allow for submission of abstracts to be considered for contributed talks.

— The NCCR MARVEL has established a fund of 20'000 € or more for 10-15 fellowships to support groups in science that are underrepresented due to gender, ethnicity, or any other status. This fund is available for active PhD students or postdocs not more than two years after their PhD graduation at the time of the conference. [Deadline: May 15]

— ASESMANET has established a fund of 12’000 € or more to support scientists based in Africa who want to participate and present their research at the Psi-k conference. This fund is available to all career stages from PhD students (or advanced M.Sc. students) to established academics. [Deadline: May 15]

— Psi-k has established a fund of 10'000 € to support refugee scientists from Ukraine and elsewhere who are currently being provided with temporary support including visiting affiliation with a European institution. This fund is available to all career stages from PhD students to established academics. [Applications processed starting May 15].
