Dear colleague!
The abstract submission deadline for our Psi-k-supported conference "Theory of Complex Disorder in Materials”  in Linköping, Sweden, 16-18 September 2019 has been extended to May 31.

Confirmed invited speakers:
Alex Zunger
Andrei Ruban
Silke Biermann
Lisa Ventelon
Alexander Shapeev
Dallas Trinkle
Ivan Leonov
Leonid Poyurovskiy

Topics that are covered:
Theoretical methods for treating materials with combined effects of chemical, vibrational, magnetic and configurational disorder.
Theory of magnetic materials at high temperature, disordered magnetism, electronic excitations, vibrations and defects.
Lattice vibrations in disordered alloys.
Interaction of configurational and magnetic disorder with defects like dislocations, stacking faults etc.
Compositionally complex alloys, high-entropy alloys.
Strong electron correlation in materials with disorder.
Theoretical modelling for how disorder influence materials properties.
Machine-learning methods for modeling disordered materials.

All information can be found on the conference homepage https://liu.se/en/research/tcdm2019
