We are glad to announce that registrations are finally open for the 19th Edition of the Young Researchers Meeting (YRM) of the European Theoretical Spectroscopy Facility, which be held in Zaragoza (Spain) from 12th to 16th of June 2023! We invite you to check our website for general information, deadlines, invited speakers, venue, etc.:

What is the YRM of ETSF?

Here is a brief explanation for the new members(and little reminder for the older ones): The YRM of ETSF is an annual meeting aimed at young researchers in the field of theoretical condensed matter. The only condition to participate is not to have a permanent position at the moment of the conference.

Who can contribute a talk?

All participants are welcome to contribute to the conference! Of course, depending on the number of participants, we cannot ensure that every participant will be able to give a talk. Nonetheless, we strongly encourage you to submit your abstracts during the registration. A poster session will also be held during the conference.

The meeting is split into five oral sessions :

  • Advanced electronic structure methods.

  • Strongly correlated systems.

  • Vibrational properties of materials.

  • Optical properties of materials.

  • Quantum Computing in condensed matter.

When is the deadline?

The deadline for registrations and abstract submission for contribution is May 12th. We strongly recommend that you register as soon as possible. You can register for the conference here:

Hope to see you soon in Zaragoza!
