IMPRESS: Interface Morphology Prediction with Robust and Efficient Structure Search
June 7th-9th 2017, Helsinki (Finland)
http://impress2017.aalto.fi

Dear colleagues,

we cordially remind you of the upcoming registration and abstract deadline, 15 April 2017, for the IMPRESS workshop on "Interface Morphology Prediction with Robust and Efficient Structure Search". We invite your oral and poster contributions at our website http://impress2017.aalto.fi. The preliminary programme is available online.

The workshop targets the challenges in computational structure prediction of ensembles on surfaces and interfaces. It is our intention to bring the machine learning community and the traditional structure search community together for talks and discussion, so that both can learn and benefit from each other's experiences.

Invited speakers include:
Volker Blum (Duke University, USA)
Luca Ghiringhelli (Fritz Haber Institute, Germany)

Stefan Gödecker (University of Basel, Switzerland)

Sabine Klapp (Technical University Berlin, Germany)

Kari Laasonen (Aalto University, Finland)
Yanming Ma (Jilin University, China)
Noa Marom (Carnegie Mellon University, USA)

Reinhard Maurer (Yale University, USA)
Maosheng Miao (California State University Northridge, USA)
Harald Oberhofer (Technical University Munich, Germany)

Andrew Peterson (Brown University, USA)

Anthony Reilly (Dublin City University, Ireland)

Marek Sierka (Jena University, Germany)

We look forward to seeing you in Helsinki!
Milica Todorovic, Oliver Hofmann and Patrick Rinke.
