Correlations, Topology, and Entanglement in Mate ... (No replies)
The Thomas-Young Centre (TYC) organizes a workshop on
"Correlations, Topology, and Entanglement in Materials"
that will take place Thursday afternoon,
30. May at King's College London, Strand campus.
Participation is free, but you are required to register at
https://thomasyoungcentre.org/event/tyc-dmft-mini-workshop/
where you will also find more details, including abstracts for the main talks.
The main speakers will be
Giorgio Sangiovanni (Universität Würzburg) and
Giovanni Sordi (Royal Holloway)
Before the official start (14:00), I will be giving (at 13:00) an introduction to dynamical mean-field theory (DMFT). The idea is to familiarize participants, in particular PhD students, with the gist of some of the many-body tools used in the presentations of the workshop.
If you are an early career researcher, working on a topic that is vaguely related to the workshop and you are interested in giving a short (15min) presentation about your results, please provide details during the registration.
Looking forward to welcoming you to London
Jan Tomczak
P.S. The workshop is in-person, on-site only. There will be no support for travel/accommodation/etc.
