Announcements of conferences, workshops, schools…

Due to the large number of posts recently, there is currently a delay of several weeks between posts being submitted and the corresponding emails being distributed to all users. Please bear with us while we try to improve this. In the meantime – and until this notice is removed – it would assist us considerably if you could submit only important and/or urgent posts and thus help to reduce the size of the mail queue. Under no circumstances should you resend posts multiple times when you find the emails are not distributed immediately.

In light of the Russian military offensive in Ukraine, we request that announcements relating to events, jobs and other activities associated with institutions supported by the Russian and Belarusian states are not posted to the Psi-k forum.

We are pleased to announce the developers-and-users conference Turbomole: Today and Tomorrow, which will bring together scientists who use and develop the Turbomole program package for electronic structure calculations for molecules and materials. The conference will showcase the latest scientific developments, applications and capabilities through invited and contributed scientific talks, poster presentations, and will provide a forum for discussions of user needs and future directions.

Please visit https://www.meeting2024.turbomole.org for the latest information

When: From Monday 16th to Thursday 19th September 2024
Where: St Hilda's College, Oxford, UK.
How: Please register through the website https://www.meeting2024.turbomole.org

Registration for the conference is free, which covers attendance and meals. Information for how to book on-site accommodation can be found on the conference website. There are a limited number of bursaries available to aid with travel/accommodation costs where this would hinder attendance. Registration and abstract submission close on 31.7.2024.

Apologies for any cross-postings

David Tew
on behalf of the Turbomole Team.
