Announcements of conferences, workshops, schools…

Due to the large number of posts recently, there is currently a delay of several weeks between posts being submitted and the corresponding emails being distributed to all users. Please bear with us while we try to improve this. In the meantime – and until this notice is removed – it would assist us considerably if you could submit only important and/or urgent posts and thus help to reduce the size of the mail queue. Under no circumstances should you resend posts multiple times when you find the emails are not distributed immediately.

In light of the Russian military offensive in Ukraine, we request that announcements relating to events, jobs and other activities associated with institutions supported by the Russian and Belarusian states are not posted to the Psi-k forum.

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

Please mark your calendar for the CECAM online session:

From women’s eyes

https://www.cecam.org/lecture-details/womens-eyes-2023

February 10 2023, 15:00 — 17:00 (CET)

“In order to achieve full and equal access to and participation in science for women and girls, the United Nations General Assembly declared February 11 as the International day of Women and Girls in Science in 2015” (from the UN website).

You are invited (boys and girls alike!) to honor with us this important occasion with an afternoon dedicated to women who contributed to our field and beyond. We are grateful to Shoshana Wodak, Elisa Molinari, Carme Rovira, Paola Carbone and Chiara de Fabritiis for accepting to share with us experiences and perspectives in a conversation across generations and domains. We are looking forward to contributions from a diverse and engaged audience!

The link to access this Zoom webinar will be published on the CECAM website closer to the date.

Best wishes,

The CECAM Team in Lausanne
