Due to the large number of posts recently, there is currently a delay of several weeks between posts being submitted and the corresponding emails being distributed to all users. Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that pre-registration for the "Blending the DFT-based multiple scattering Greens’ function approach to spectroscopies with machine learning" workshop on the theme of spectroscopy and machine learning are open.

This event will take place over 11 days at the Les Houches School of Physics (Les Houches, France) from Monday 30th October 2023 to Friday 10th November 2023.

The number of participants is limited to 70. Registration for this event will be done in two phases:

• A first phase of pre-registration, from the beginning of April to 9th June 2023, on the website of one of our sponsors: https://www.cecam.org/workshop-details/1220 (create your account on the CECAM website and click on the "participate" tab to proceed with your pre-registration).
• A second phase, for the selected participants, registration, from mid-June to the end of September. Information on the registration procedure will be provided later.‌

As an indication, the registration and participation fees will not exceed 900€ (the exact amount will be announced at the opening of the registration phase). This fee includes :

• The participation fee for the entire conference;
• Accommodation for 11 nights from 30 October to 10 November 2023;
• Meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) from the evening of Monday 30 October to Friday 10 November including lunch;
• The participation fee for the activity on Sunday 5 November.
