We are happy to announce the upcoming CECAM flagship workshop “Light-matter interaction and ultrafast nonequilibrium dynamics in plasmonic materials” which will be held at the University of Warwick (UK) from 18^th to 21^st of July 2022.

This event is funded by Psi-K and CECAM and aims at bringing together researchers from the communities of electronic structure theory, plasmonics, non-equilibrium chemical dynamics, and photocatalysis to debate novel developments at the boundaries of these rapidly evolving fields.

The primary focus of this workshop is on the theoretical description and computational modelling of theoretical plasmonics, however, the event will further feature invited talks from several experimental leaders in the field of plasmonics and ultrafast dynamics at surfaces.

The scientific program will feature invited talks only, but a limited number of spaces will be provided for attendees to present their work in a poster session. We will select attendees to ensure scientific relevance of the contribution and balance with respect to geographical distribution, gender, and academic stage. The deadline for abstract submissions via the CECAM workshop webpage is June 1st 2022.
