We are hosting a workshop on multiply charged droplets at CECAM headquarters in Lausanne from 6 to 8 July 2016 and invite interested readers of the molecular dynamics community to participate.

The meeting will focus on factors that affect the stability of charged droplets and that control the charge state of macromolecules dissolved in such droplets.  Electrospray ionization is one field where a greater understanding of these systems is currently needed.  Part of the purpose of the workshop is to bring together specialists in a range of areas that border on this topic, including interfaces, droplets, ion solvation, classical and quantum simulations.  Although CECAM is dedicated to computational developments, we also welcome participation from experimentalists who are interested in theory and modelling.

There is no registration fee for the meeting and all participants are welcome to the workshop dinner free of charge.
