we are happy to announce the CECAM Summer School

       "Bandstructure meets quantum field theory"

that is going to take place July 2-6, 2018 in Vienna, Austria.

The school consists of lectures (and hands-on courses) on:
  * density functional theory (Wien2k)
  * Feynman diagrams & many-body theory
  * Hedin's GW approach (VASP)
  * Wannier functions (wien2wannier)
  * dynamical mean-field theory
  * continuous-time quantum Monte Carlo (w2dynamics)
  * dual fermions (DF)
  * parquet and ab initio dynamical vertex approximation (DGA victory, AbinitioDGA)

The school is supported by CECAM as a Flagship School and hence
registration (deadline: March 25, 2018) goes through CECAM:

There will be no conference fee, but participating students (and postdocs) have to cover their travel and accommodation costs (single room: 68 Euro/night; double room 40 Euro/night/person).
