Australian symposium on Computationally Enhanced Materials Design - ACEMD18

This is the second edition of the ACEMD series. This year’s version will be held conjointly with the International Symposium on Homogenous and Heterogeneous Catalysis at the International Conversion Centre in Sydney. The symposium will run between the 22nd and 25th of July 2018.

A wide array of topics in computational chemistry and modelling of materials will be covered, including but not limited to:

  • Catalysis
  • Materials for energy applications
  • Graphene and 2D materials
  • Topological materials
  • Soft matter simulations
  • Algorithm, theory and methods development

A 1-day post-symposium workshop - Introduction to Machine Learning Materials Science - will be held at UNSW Sydney’s Kensington campus (flyer and information available at the ACEMD18 website).
