Dear Colleagues,

we noted that the original abstract deadline International Conference on Ceramic Materials and Components for Energy and Environmental Applications (CMCEE 2018) inconveniently fell on CNY eve.

We will keep the submission open through Feb 28, as per the modified announcement below:

----------------------

We would like to bring to your attention the symposium on Computational Design and Modeling at the International Conference on Ceramic Materials and Components for Energy and Environmental Applications (CMCEE 2018), supported by the American Ceramic Society, which will be held in Singapore on July 22-27, 2018:

http://www.cmcee2018.org/

We invite submissions (oral and poster) of your materials modeling work. Symposium topics include
• Ceramic genome
• Ab initio modeling of crystalline and amorphous materials
• Computational engineering of integrated materials
• Multi-scale modeling approaches
• Modeling and design of ceramics for energy and environmental applications
• Modeling materials behavior under extreme/harsh environments (ultrahigh temperature, radiation,
environmental damages and severe load and stresses)
• Prediction of the crystal structure and properties of new ceramics
• Modeling defects and amorphous matter

and related topics. The abstract submission deadline is February 28. You may contact symposium organizers

Jingyang Wang, Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, email: [email protected]
Sergei Manzhos, National University of Singapore, Singapore, email: [email protected] or [email protected]

with any queries.

Best regards,

Sergei Manzhos
