The 9th ABINIT developers Workshop will take place 20-22 May 2019 at the UCLouvain, Louvain-la-Neuve Belgium.

It will bring together the community of people actively working on the development of the free and open-source ABINIT software application (abinit.org), as well as some developers working in projects to which ABINIT is interfaced, e.g., the Materials Project, the second-principles DFT project -SPDFT-, NOMAD, ELPA, etc. The possible evolution of the package and its interfaces will be discussed, the formalism of the most recent implementations will be presented, short-term future developments will be discussed and synchronized, as well as long-term strategy and developments.
