We would like to cordially invite you to the 4th BATMAN - Battery Modeling & Advanced Numerical Simulations. September 4-8. 2023 in Copenhagen.

Unique school covering various facets in the development and application of multi-scale modeling methods, from theoretical foundations to practical implementation. It will cover DFT approaches, Kinetic Monte Carlo, Cluster expansion, Molecular Dynamics, Continuum modeling, Machine Learning, computational workflows, and virtual reality visualization and computation.

The spirit of the school is completely open, being all the professors available for discussions with the students not only during their lectures but also during the whole week. The students will have practical exercises on codes and methods. Among these, the students will have the possibility of trying novel Virtual Reality tools, focused on the atomistic, mesoscopic and macroscopic aspects of a battery. The school includes a special virtual lecture by a surprise lecturer that will end up with a round table between her and the students.
