Announcements of conferences, workshops, schools…

Due to the large number of posts recently, there is currently a delay of several weeks between posts being submitted and the corresponding emails being distributed to all users. Please bear with us while we try to improve this. In the meantime – and until this notice is removed – it would assist us considerably if you could submit only important and/or urgent posts and thus help to reduce the size of the mail queue. Under no circumstances should you resend posts multiple times when you find the emails are not distributed immediately.

In light of the Russian military offensive in Ukraine, we request that announcements relating to events, jobs and other activities associated with institutions supported by the Russian and Belarusian states are not posted to the Psi-k forum.

You are cordially invited to attend the  4rd International Battery Manufacturing Days - Webinar Series, which will be held online between September 11th and September 15th, 2023. The webinars will only take place in the afternoons, from 1:30 PM to 4:50 PM CET, except on Wednesday, when it will start at 3:10 PM. You can register and find more information here.

The ARTISTIC Project is an innovative and multi-disciplinary initiative funded by the European Research Council and is mainly devoted at improving the efficiency of the current electrode fabrication process while ensuring that rechargeable battery technologies with emerging chemistries become a reality.

This event is free for everyone, including speakers and attendees. As in previous years, the program will feature presentations from world-class battery scientists, as well as members of the ARTISTIC team. These presentations will cover a wide range of topics, including the introduction of new battery manufacturing computational models and a live demonstration of the recently upgraded ARTISTIC online computational services. This is a unique opportunity to learn about the latest advances in battery manufacturing and to network with leading experts in the field.

Confirmed invited speakers include Prof. William Chueh (Stanford University, USA), Dr. Margret Wohflart Mehrens (Zentrum für Sonnenenergie - und Wasserstoff - Forschung Baden-Württemberg, ZSW, Germany), Dr. Weihan Li (RWTH Aachen University, Germany), Dr. Scott Roberts (Sandia National Laboratories, USA), Dr. Monica Marinescu (Imperial College London, UK), Dr. Sigita Trabesinger (Paul Scherrer Institut, PSI, Switzerland), Dr. Marine Reynaud (CIC energiGUNE, Spain) and Dr. Mona Faraji Niri (University of Warwick, UK).
