Dear Colleagues,

This year the traditional WIEN2k-workshop (the 24th !) will be held from

18. - 22. Sept. 2017   at the TU Vienna, Austria.

As usual during this workshop we will have introductory and advanced lectures on WIEN2k and related topics giving you a comprehensive introduction and an overview of the most important concepts of the theoretical modeling of solids. Equally important, the workshop will devote ample time for hands-on exercises where you can get acquainted with WIEN2k and get a head-start of your own projects.
It will be an excellent opportunity for beginners to get a perfect start, both in theory and in practice, as well as for more experienced users to learn the latest tricks and get tips directly from the developers for an even more effective use of the package.

For the extensive hands-on sessions you need to bring your own laptop.
