I would like to inform you about the 1st FRASCAL Virtual Colloquium being organized by the DFG funded Research Training Group GRK 2423 "FRASCAL - Fracture across Scales".

 

The colloquium aims to provide a platform to discuss recent advances in the computational modeling of fracture at various length and time scales. This event is planned as a series of weekly, invited talks by experts tackling the aforementioned problem from different viewpoints such as mechanics, material science, mathematics, physics and chemistry. The weekly seminar will take place via Zoom on Thursdays and during 22 April - 22 July, 2021, with a ~45 min talk so as to have ample time for discussions using breakout rooms.
