Discussion, requests for help, suggestions and complaints…

In light of the Russian military offensive in Ukraine, we request that announcements relating to events, jobs and other activities associated with institutions supported by the Russian and Belarusian states are not posted to the Psi-k forum.

I believe the spirit of the current situation around russian invasion of Ukraine suggests that skolkovo jobs postings should not be accepted by Psi-k. There are various views on the matter, see https://edition.cnn.com/2022/03/28/europe/russian-scientists-collaboration-scn/index.html , https://www.timeshighereducation.com/news/uk-cuts-most-russian-research-ties-and-funds-ukrainian-refugees, https://www.researchprofessionalnews.com/rr-news-europe-netherlands-2022-3-scientific-collaboration-with-russia-frozen/, https://www.cnrs.fr/en/cnrs-suspends-all-new-forms-scientific-collaboration-russia, etc.

Job adverts of Psi-k are extremely valuable for the community, but in this case they are used to attract scientists from the West to take part in research projects at a completely state-funded institution. The agressor state. I hope there will be no applications from the West, but my suggestion is to remove existing postings and not allow new ones, at least until the war is raging in the Ukraine. This will be consistent with the position of the numerous international research bodies that with deep regret suspended all existing scientific collaborations.
