Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Theoretical Semiconductor Physics at Dept of Physics / Centre for Materials Science and Nanotechnology, University of Oslo (UiO).

The aim of the studies is to explore novel concepts and ideas, as well as to elucidate and understand fundamental properties of novel semiconductors. The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will theoretically functionalize defects in semiconductors; more specifically to model, explore, and analyze various dopants, point defects, and complexes in advanced semiconductors with extraordinary potential.

The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will be part of several research tasks that involve advanced theoretical investigations as well as close collaboration with the research groups within the Fundament project, funded jointly by the Research Council of Norway and UiO. The project’s primary objective is to accelerate processes towards groundbreaking functionalities with a holistic approach to defects in advanced semiconductors and nanostructures.
