A postdoc position (1+1 years contract) in computational modelling of interfaces between (nano)particles is currently open in the frame of the ERC Starting Grant project INTHERM: Design, manufacturing and control of INterfaces in THERMally conductive polymer nanocomposites, awarded to prof. Alberto Fina at Politecnico di Torino, Italy
The ideal profile of the candidate is a PhD in physics, chemistry or engineering with specific expertise in modelling of phononic thermal transport and/or DFT/MD on organically functionalized nanoparticles and/or self-assembled structures.
