A PhD student position is available at the Department of Physics at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The objective of this PhD project is to develop and apply theoretical and computational techniques for understanding thermal transport processes in condensed matter systems at the electronic/atomic scale. It will comprise the construction of atomic scale models and their application in the computation of transport functions. These models and techniques will be applied to different classes of materials including oxides as well as two-dimensional materials.
